JOGLE team training hard as the countdown continues: 3 weeks to go!
Our team of 16 riders and crew are biking the length of the UK to raise money and support a very dear friend and colleague. Sadly one of our good friends and colleague, Nick Windsor, Deputy Head at SJB, died after a valiant battle with non-small cell lung cancer.
Nick was a passionate advocate of charity and service. After his diagnosis, we promised we would complete an event and attempt to raise money for the charity of his choice. Nick has chosen The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, firstly because of the care he has received there and secondly because of the phenomenal work they do helping children battling this terrible illness. 4 weeks to go!

On Saturday 23rd July we start the 968 miles on two wheels from John O'Groats to Lands End in memory of our dear friend and colleague, Nick Windsor.
The team are ramping up the training - before school, after school, on the trainers and in their sleep!
SJB Strava leaderboard is shuffling everyday as people log the legs and the miles. Some people have got some work to do to meet the start line with fresh muscles and adequate saddle resilience.
Last week's logistics meeting raised the important issues of food, pub bookings, chafe cream, how to share a bed without sharing a bed, and how to fix a broken chain in the middle of the Scottish highlands! It's getting serious.
So... watch this space for updates and readiness and we start packing to head up to John O'Groats for the ride of our lives for one wonderful person - for you Nick!
